Kate McCullar was elected President of Bauman-Massa Jewelry Co. in 2003. She represents the fourth generation of her family to work in the jewelry industry. She is also senior designer and creator of her own namesake signature line. Kate travels the world to stay ahead of the fashion trends. She combines gemstones, diamonds, pearls and precious metals to create an alluring product that graces independent jewelry stores nationwide.

With a BA of Science in Business and an emphasis in Product Development from the University of Missouri, Kate is armed with the business sense and skill needed for this ever competing industry. Once she became President at the age of 28, Kate took on the daunting task of revising the Bauman-Massa look. “Jewelry should always be both classy and fabulous”, says the forward thinking executive.  Her creative fashion sense was put to the test with the design of her own namesake line of jewelry, Designs by Kate McCullar™. She imagined designs with clean lines, open spaces, and delicate details to a jewelry line that would be considered classic with a modern touch. As we have seen through celebrity endorsement, magazines ads and most of all customer satisfaction, this was just what Bauman-Massa needed to stay unique and competitive. To stay ahead, Kate is constantly hard at work monitoring trends in magazines, on television, and in some of the world’s largest cities such as New York and Los Angeles. Kate’s belief is, “No outfit is complete without the right jewelry”, which is why each Kate McCullar™ piece is given special attention to detail, quality and value.

Kate is extremely involved with each step of the day to day activities at Bauman-Massa. She can often be seen in all departments of the shop, overseeing progress of current, new and custom pieces. Her involvement in the development of each piece of jewelry exemplifies her dedication to the success of this company.
